Issue
of Dutch film and theater magazine, published in Leiden. This weekly magazine changed names several times. It was launched on 08 Feb, 1918 as De filmwereld [Film World] and continued under this name until the end of 1920. At the beginning of 1921 it became Cinema en theater and the numbering restarted from Year 1, No. 1, continuing up until the end of 1923 (Year 3, No. 156). As of the beginning of 1924, it was retitled Het weekblad cinema en theater [Cinema and Theatre Weekly] (Year 4, No. 1), and was published as such until 1941 (Year 21). Between 1942 (Year 22) and its final issue in 1944 (Year 24, No. 36), the name reverted to Cinema en theater. |
